Albert Katz is a chef and a true artisan &#8211; his olive oils have won countless awards, his vinegars have been recognized by the Slow Food Ark of Taste for the production method he uses, and he&#8217;s a founding member of the California Olive Oil Council.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/IMG_6469.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6110\" title=\"IMG_6469\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/IMG_6469.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"383\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/IMG_6469.jpg 383w, http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/IMG_6469-229x300.jpg 229w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 383px) 100vw, 383px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>My first introduction to KATZ oils and vinegars was through previous cooking classes at the co-op. I have managed to purchase a nice little collection. I stopped buying store bought salad dressings and have been making my own for the past couple of years.
