I was not kidding when I said that pizza was what I missed the most. It is my desert island meal&#8230; I could eat pizza every day for the rest of my life. So&#8230; getting my pizza to fit within the 17 day diet meal plan was easy!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5797.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5725\" title=\"IMG_5797\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5797.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5797.jpg 450w, http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5797-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><br \/>\n1 Middle East Baking Company Carb Watch Whole Wheat Pita<br \/>\n2 Tablespoons Muir Glen Organic Pizza Sauce<br \/>\n1\/2 Small Yellow Onion<br \/>\n1 Dorat Chopped Basil Cube<br \/>\n2 Dorat Crush Garlic Cubes<br \/>\n1 Cup Fresh Spinach<br \/>\n6-8 Grape Tomatoes<br \/>\n1 Serving Low Fat Mozzarella Cheese<br \/>\n2 Shakes Reduced Fat Parmesan Cheese<br \/>\n1 Teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil<br \/>\nSalt and Pepper to Taste<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5800.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5726\" title=\"IMG_5800\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5800.jpg 450w, http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5800-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Slice onions and saute in olive oil and add the frozen cubes of garlic, basil and salt and pepper. No need to pre-cook, the pitas are thin enough that they get crispy all the way through.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5807.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5728\" title=\"IMG_5807\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5807.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"282\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5807.jpg 450w, http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5807-300x188.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Place the onion mixture on top of the sauce, measure out a single portion of mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with one shake of reduced fat parm.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5812.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5729\" title=\"IMG_5812\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5812.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5812.jpg 450w, http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5812-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Set the handy dandy <a href=\"http:\/\/www.geappliances.com\/products\/introductions\/advantium\/\" target=\"_blank\">GE Profile Advantium Oven<\/a> (ours is an older model) to the pizza setting&#8230; (Best money we ever spent &#8211; a speedcook oven that uses light to cook things up to 8 times faster than a conventional oven.) The oven uses special metal pans&#8230; think crispy pizza, browned biscuits, cookies, and grilled chicken in minutes&#8230; it&#8217;s awesome!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5813.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5730\" title=\"IMG_5813\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5813.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5813.jpg 450w, http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5813-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Turn the dial to select deli\/fresh (there are 5 or 6 pizza settings including frozen, thin crust, thick crust and by size) and 5:28 minutes later&#8230; j\/k, it was 5:30, but I missed the shot&#8230; You could also use your regular oven set at 350 degrees for between 8-10 minutes &#8211; maybe less depending on how your oven cooks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5823.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5731\" title=\"IMG_5823\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5823.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5823.jpg 450w, http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_5823-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>While my pizza was cooking, I sauteed some grape tomatoes and cut up spinach in a non-stick pan with some olive oil cooking spray. So amazing that 4 decent slices of pizza hovered around 300 calories and was less than 22 g of carbs&#8230; with 7 g of fiber. I&#8217;m not tracking calories or fiber, but wanted to calculate it for people that are.<\/p>\n<p>I am feeling more and more like Cycle 3 is a way of life&#8230; the first 2 Cycles, no way&#8230; they were pretty restrictive and it bummed me out how exhausted I got from working out for only 17 minutes.
