It truly was the most creative of the bunch. He talked to a local donut shop (who thought he was crazy) and ordered a dozen unfilled (glazed) jelly donuts &#8211; which he turned into hamburger buns. He baked up a batch of double chocolate chunk cookies for the patties, made his own marshmallow fondant (I&#8217;ve never even made fondant) to create the &#8220;provolone&#8221; cheese. He used Smucker&#8217;s Strawberry Squeeze Jam to mimic the ketchup, a tube of yellow #5 cake frosting for the mustard and he sorted through gummy worms to find the yellow and green ones to cut up to create hamburger relish.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5258\" title=\"IMG_4807\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/IMG_4807.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"325\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/IMG_4807.jpg 450w, http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/IMG_4807-300x216.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Freakin&#8217; Brilliant!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5269\" title=\"IMG_4800c\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/IMG_4800c.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/IMG_4800c.jpg 450w, http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/IMG_4800c-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>While we were all running around the kitchen like chickens with our heads cut off&#8230;\u00a0Aaron&#8217;s entry was already prepared and ready for judging.
