Chip Cookies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I kept seeing the same\u00a0Ocean Spray Craisins cookie\u00a0recipe in their\u00a0magazine ads. \u00a0I would flip through my food magazines and the giant cookies would stop me from page turning. I think it&#8217;s hysterical that the cookies in the ad are so huge. When you look at the instructions it says to drop dough by &#8220;rounded teaspoons&#8221; &#8211; Those are small cookies. I&#8217;m a &#8220;rounded tablespoon&#8221; cookie girl. When a recipe says it makes 2.5 dozen, I&#8217;m lucky to get 1.5 dozen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1485\" title=\"IMG_1380\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/ingredientsIMG_1380.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/ingredientsIMG_1380.jpg 450w, http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/ingredientsIMG_1380-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2\/3 Cup Butter or Margarine, softened &#8211; I used Trader Joe&#8217;s organic butter<br \/>\n2\/3 Cup Brown Sugar<br \/>\n2 Large Eggs<br \/>\n1.5 Cups Old-Fashioned Oats &#8211; I used Quaker<br \/>\n1.5 Cups Flour<br \/>\n1 Teaspoon Baking Soda<br \/>\n1\/2 Teaspoon Salt<br \/>\n1 Six Ounce Package Ocean Spray Craisins\u00a0 &#8211; \u00a0I used Trader Joe&#8217;s dried cranberries &#8211; hah! hah! &#8211; thanks for the\u00a0idea and recipe Ocean Spray.<br \/>\n2\/3 Cup White Chocolate Chunks or Chips &#8211; I could only find chips at the Nugget market<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. My kitchen and dough will be so happy for it to join us.<\/p>\n<p>Combine oats, flour, baking soda and salt in a separate mixing bowl.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1489\" title=\"IMG_1389\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/mixIMG_1389.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/mixIMG_1389.jpg 450w, http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/mixIMG_1389-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Add butter mixture in several batches &#8211; mixing well after each addition. Once I got the batter all mixed, I divided it into two bowls. The other batch had the white chocolate chips.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1491\" title=\"IMG_1396\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/ovenIMG_1396.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/ovenIMG_1396.jpg 450w, http:\/\/foodiddy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/ovenIMG_1396-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I got my tablespoon sized cookie balls onto my ungreased cookie sheets and into the oven. The magazine photo showed Frisbee sized cookies \ud83d\ude09 and I thought mine would look as perfect, LOL. I was really pleased with the combination, but then again, I&#8217;m a white chocolate fan in small amounts. Dan grabbed one off the cooling rack before he even knew what they were for. I gasped in horror and then pretended that they were for some imaginary bake sale.
